Veterio – LuxVet Group’s referral clinic is now open!
September 16 marked the opening of Veterio, the first referral veterinary clinic built by LuxVet Group.
Veterio will collaborate with clinics and surgeries across the country, offering 24-hour advanced treatment and diagnostic assistance.
Doctors referring their patients here will be kept informed of their condition and the course of treatment.
Veterio is located at 7 Taśmowa Street, in the Diuna office complex in Warsaw’s Mokotów district.
The clinic occupies two floors with a total area of more than 2,200 sqm.
Clients and employees have about 50 underground parking spaces at their disposal.
In case of emergency, they can also use parking spaces in front of the entrance to the facility itself.
Veterio’s medical space is divided into two main departments.
The first is a 24/7 open emergency room with an intensive care unit that handles emergency and critical cases.
The second is a referral ward, which will consist of specialty subdivisions to be opened gradually: surgery, internal medicine with endoscopy, orthopedics and spine surgery, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology, imaging, anesthesiology with pain management clinic, oncology and dentistry.
Veterio has 13 consultation rooms, five operating rooms of various grades, separate hospital rooms for dogs and cats, and a set of isolation rooms with sluice rooms.
The facility is equipped with high-end equipment (including an MRI, CT scanner and X-ray), enabling many advanced surgical and diagnostic procedures to be performed under one roof.
However, basic veterinary procedures will not be performed here.
“Veterio will be a partner, not a competitor to other veterinary facilities. Therefore, we will not provide basic medical care services. We will be a support in advanced cases and those requiring specialized consultation, treatment or diagnostics. And also at night, weekends, holidays – when our partner facilities are closed. Veterio’s concept of operation is based on good models of referral veterinary hospitals in Western Europe, the US, Canada and Australia. There, cooperation with a referral facility, consulting complex cases, referring patients for specific treatments or tests, is part of the daily work of veterinarians. I know how much benefit this brings to both doctors and patients, and that is why I hope that we will develop similar patterns in Poland as well.” – says Rafal Boroń, Veterio’s clinical director.
The Veterio clinic will serve patients referred from all clinics, both affiliated with the LuxVet Group and outside.
As far as possible, cooperation will be based on agreements with these facilities, which will facilitate the transfer of the patient and contact between the referring facility and the Veterio team – both before the patient’s admission and after discharge. Detailed information for establishments interested in referral cooperation can be obtained by writing to partnerzy@veterio.pl and at www.veterio.pl.
