Anita Piątek graduated as a veterinarian with honors in 2010 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Life Sciences in Wroclaw. In 2013, she defended her dissertation, obtaining the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Sciences and the Award of the Rector of the University of Life Sciences. Wroclaw, Poland. Until 2018, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Small Animal Surgery of her alma mater, combining scientific and didactic activities with clinical work. She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and research projects. She obtained the Polish title of specialist in veterinary surgery in 2024 and began specializing in surgery in the UK in 2025 (BSAVA PgCert SAS). She is certified as a RECOVER BLS & ALS RESCUER.
He is a member of the Polish Society of Veterinary Emergency Medicine (PAVECC) and the Veterinary Endoscopy Society (VES).
She has attended many national and international training courses and conferences in veterinary emergency medicine, surgery, orthopedics and minimally invasive surgery. She has completed professional internships in Italy, Ireland and England, where she subsequently also worked clinically.
