Veterio, the first referral veterinary facility that LuxVet Group is building in Warsaw, is entering the final stages of construction.
\nPatients will be able to use the 24-hour emergency room and specialized wards as early as autumn.
\nThey will be referred to Veterio by their home institutions. <\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Veterio is located in the Diuna office complex at 7 Ta\u015bmowa Street in Warsaw’s Mokot\u00f3w district.
\nOn more than 2,200 sq. m.
\nof space is being created with reception rooms, operating and treatment rooms, diagnostic rooms, comfortable spaces for clients and employees, as well as training and conference rooms. <\/p>\n

Veterio’s medical space is divided into two main departments.
\nThe first is a non-stop active emergency room with an intensive care unit that will handle emergency and critical cases.
\nThe second is a referral ward, which will consist of specialized subdivisions: surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology, endoscopy, imaging, internal medicine and anesthesiology.
\nOncology and dentistry will also be added in the future.
\nThe facility is being outfitted with high-end equipment (including MRI, CT and X-ray scanners), enabling many advanced surgical and diagnostic procedures to be performed under one roof.
\nHowever, basic veterinary procedures will not be performed there. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

“Veterio’s concept of operation is based on good models of referral veterinary hospitals in the world. In Poland there is no such category of entity, while in Western Europe, the USA, Canada or Australia they are a permanent part of the veterinary care system. These facilities do not provide basic animal care services. They handle emergency and life-threatening conditions on the one hand, and advanced cases requiring specialized treatment and diagnostics on the other. Systemically, they provide support for existing veterinary surgeries, clinics and clinics, which can refer patients to them who cannot be helped on their own. That is, for example, when they do not have the right equipment, an available specialist, or at night or on holidays, when they are simply closed. Veterio will operate on similar principles.” <\/em>– says Rafal Boro\u0144, Veterio’s clinical director.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Veterio clinic will serve patients referred from all clinics, both affiliated with the LuxVet Group and outside.
\nAs far as possible, cooperation will be based on agreements with these facilities, which will facilitate the transfer of the patient and contact between the referring facility and the Veterio team – both before the patient’s admission and after discharge. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

LuxVet Group has invited a Polish team of experienced veterinarians to work on the creation of Veterio.
\nEach specialized subdivision will have its own leader, who will be supported by other doctors and technicians and support staff.
