Veterio is a 24/7 animal treatment facility, with an emergency and intensive care unit open 24/7, 365 days a year, and specialized wards. It is being built in Warsaw's Mokotow district on an area of more than 2,000. sq. m. It is being created with a Polish team of experienced veterinarians, based on the models of multispecialty veterinary hospitals in the world. In connection with the launch of Veterio, we are seeking individuals for the position of:
VETERINARIAN
General Requirements:
- Title of Veterinarian and current right to practice in the Republic of Poland.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a small animal treatment facility (experience in a 24-hour clinic will be an advantage).
- Empathy and respect for people and animals.
- Communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Professionalism and resistance to stress.
We expect:

- Skills in operating basic diagnostic equipment, including laboratory equipment.
- Skills in operating basic surgical equipment, preparing the surgical patient, pre- and post-operative care, performing surgical procedures (to varying degrees depending on the position).
- Knowledge of the principles of bioassurance and understanding of professional responsibility in the prevention and control of infectious diseases.

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
General Requirements:
- The title of Veterinary Technician confirmed by the corresponding diploma.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a small animal treatment facility (experience in a 24-hour clinic will be an advantage).
- Empathy and respect for people and animals.
- Communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Professionalism and resistance to stress.
Job responsibilities/requirements:
- Taming animals in a way that is safe for yourself, the animal and others around you.
- Planning and carrying out sanitary and hygienic treatments and providing care for outpatient animals.
- Sampling for laboratory tests.
- Obtaining peripheral intravenous access.
- Perform observations and conduct a basic clinical examination of the animal as necessary for first aid.
- Performing injections and administration of drugs and pharmaceuticals (enteral and parenteral, injectable, etc.) as intended and prescribed by a veterinarian.
- Basic knowledge of the risks to the patient and staff associated with the administration of pharmacological agents and preventive measures.
- Ability to operate basic diagnostic equipment, including laboratory equipment.
- Ability to operate basic surgical equipment, prepare the surgical patient, pre- and post-operative care, assist the veterinarian in surgical procedures.
- Knowledge of the principles of bioassurance and understanding of professional responsibility in the prevention and control of infectious diseases.
